Hello NG,

whenever I try to make a perl modules package with cpan2tgz in -current,
it stops after building the module with error message
"[Xyz::foo] Inappropriate ioctl for device" - the module package is not
created. Using "install Xyz::foo" in the CPAN shell on it's own shows
no problem at all.

I guess it stoped working after upgrading the kernel to 2.6.27. I have
another machine running current with kernel 2.6.26-rc? which doesn't
show any problems with cpan2tgz.

I removed everything perl-related, deleted /usr/lib/per5 and reinstalled
perl - with no effect.

TIA,
Martin
