It's not down persay, but it's definitely not quite right. Try
accessing the site via it's IP address instead of its domain name and
all should be ok. I'm talking to some xfce people now in hopes of
fixing it.

Just done a quick browser check, can't see any problem here.

To follow-up, xfce.org has had this sort of trouble for a little while
now according to what I heard today. Some people have no trouble
accessing the site, while others are unable to reach it. I found that
if I waited long enough[0] the site would eventually load. Moreover, if
I accessed the site via its IP address, it would load instantly. If I
dropped an entry for www.xfce.org into my /etc/hosts file, everything
worked fine as well. This bugs me to no end, because I have a local
caching nameserver on my LAN that resolved xfce.org's a records in
under a millisecond.
Something's not quite right on their end, but I'll be danged if I can
find it out.

Something very wrong.
I find one address in the USA 72.232.199.162 that goes to a site named
interhact.net, while the correct address to xfce.org should be 138.48.2.101
which is the correct one. (Belgium?)
This must be a DNS problem somewhere. But thankfully the 138.48.2.101 works.

Sorry I guess I have to clarify a bit. |
The US address (72.232.199.162) shows up as to be www.xfce.org in DNS
listings. And 138.48.2.101 show up to be www.xfce.org. So after what I can
figure out it must be a DNS problem.
