Too late. People have been cross-posting inappropriate advertisements
to Usenet for years. I'm sure abuse@blueyonder.co.uk is about to have
words with you, especially if everybody else you've pestered does the
same. I don't normally cross-post, but for a lusing git like you,
I'll make an exception.

Note that the binary claims to be a screen saver, and could easily be
a trojan. Do as the headers suggest and send your complaints to
abuse@shaw.ca like I did. The more of us complain, the better the
chance this luser's account will be nuked from orbit.

Can you tell me when an application might take long time to dump core?
The linux o.s is indicating that a process is dumping core, and only
after 40 mins i am seeing the core file. What might be the problem?

[Follow-ups set.]

Off-topic here.

Possible answers:

- The device we are dumping core to is slow
- The amount of stuff we have to dump to the core image is huge or
convoluted
- Some other reason

Sigh... news://news.admin.net-abuse.policy

and then scream at your idiot provider to fix their news filters.
You may also consider switching to a real newsgroup - c.o.l.help
was renamed c.o.l.misc back in December 1994, but some news providers
carry it to increase their newsgroup counts ("we have more than
anyone else" - so what if they're inactive).

but not seen here because most news servers are filtering the spew.
(Incidentally, what _is_ the appropriate groups for a hip-crime spew?)

Maybe if you screamed at your st00pid news server admin, they might
filter the crap as many other providers are doing. This klown is
in the UK (you'd discover that with a few seconds on google), and the
road-runner account is just one of the millions of windoze zombies
available for use as an open proxy. If you bothered to search recent
posts in news.admin.net-abuse.policy - you might learn about the idiot
and the open proxy problem at places like rr.com.
