Hi,
how can I remove GNOME autostart from my installation? And, if it
isn't too hard for a beginner, how can I completely remove GNOME?
Thank you.

I suppose you mean automatic login when the system boots?
That can be changed in YaST > Security and Users > User and Group
Management >
Select a user and then go > Expert Options > Login Settings > Auto Login and/or
Passwordless Logins
Don't remove Gnome it if hard disk space is not absolutely crucial.
If all goes well removing it will only save some disk space.
A big chance is that there's a lot of dependencies and solving will take
more effort than what you gain.
Just add what you want and use that then.
Say you add KDE or what not.
Then log out and log back in choosing what you want.
Next time the previous one will be default :)
