Hy guys

when a start snort in my linux debian etch (IP: 10.10.1.101) with this
command:
snort -A full -l ./log_snort -h 10.0.0.0/8 -c /etc/snort/snort.conf

and try to do from 10.10.1.102
nmap -sT -PI -PT 10.10.1.101

nothing is logged

but if i do
nmap -sT -PI -PT 10.10.1.103
with host 10.10.1.103 in the same network

is logged the scan

why in local snort don't log nothing but for other host yes?

sorry for my bad english, i'm italian

thanks a lot
