Hi!
I got following problem with wifi on my laptop (toshiba satellite
a215-s7422/Fedora 9). When I log in to the system (using root account) the
system automatically establishes a wifi connection (I receive dhcp lease),
but I can't receive any answer from default gateway while pinging to it.
(Clearly, I can't reach any external IP). I have no such problems using
windows xp. Has anybody an idea what 's going on?

Hello Exp:
Can you give out more details? Are you able to connect your laptop to
the internet through an Ethernet port? Have you tried to connect your
laptop's Wi-Fi to the Internet through another access point (AP)? Are
any other "Wi-Fi Hotspots" near where you are?
Please provide as much information as you're able. We aren't very
judgmental when it comes to grammar and spelling. The idea is to get
your laptop working as best as it can.
